COOH loos

During a conversation with a client today, I revealed many things about myself – not always to my best advantage. But one of those was the fact that I used to review loos. And as always happens in those moments, I think back to that time and decide that yes, once again, I’ll start reviewing loos.

It’s unlikely to become regular – it never does (needs more fibre) – but here we go. An unbiased review of the toilets at COOH Alexandria.

Nestled in at the back of this sprawling cafe, we have Female, Male and Accessible toilets.

The ladies toilets have four cubicles, with hooks on the back of the door to safely store your handbag, and sanitary bins beside each lav. The toilets are not cramped without being ludicrously roomy, and the gap under the partition is enough to share toilet paper, but not so expansive as to interfere with privacy.

The sinks, which are very cool and modern, suffer for their art (as so often happens). The taps are just a bit too close to the stone, meaning you really have to cram your hands in under there to get a wash on.

Basically, it would be pretty difficult to wash some wine or vomit or egg out of your shirt, if you needed to (hey, we’ve all been there).

For cleanliness and chic – COOH loos are a cool four stars.

(the food is quite good also)
