or: living on the edge
I deleted my schedule today. Some of you may know that I live and die by my schedule. And today I decided to live and die… not… by my schedule.
I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, without restriction.
Within reason, of course.
(That’s a quote from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, btw)
My schedule addiction is no joke. I put everything in my schedule. Journal, breakfast, gym, shower, work, lunch, Italian, run, ballet, reading, tasks EVERYTHING!!
I’m not embarrassed to tell you that I once gave access to my calendar to a girlfriend so she would know when I was available. I literally asked her to check my calendar before proposing any events with me. Christ, no wonder I’m single.
But I’m on holiday, gods dammit!! Yes, I’m still working three days a week, and I haven’t removed my work hours from my calendar.
But as for everything else, imma just gonna go with the flow. If breakfast starts at 9:45 instead of 9:30, I’m not gonna freak out.
Because it’s not in my schedule!
If I practice recorder at 3pm instead of 4, I’m not gonna stress.
Because it’s not in my schedule!
And if I don’t do yoga today at all, I’ll remain zen.
Because it’s not in my schedule.
It’s a brave new world. Wish me luck.
Also here’s some food I ate today. Mostly all I take photos of is food.
