Space toilet chocolates

Sometimes a story just falls out of the sky and lands in your lap and says, “Hey, man, the universe is on your side.”

That’s how I feel about this story about everybody’s favourite astronaut Cady Coleman. I’ve written before about toilets on the International Space Station because frankly who doesn’t love to hear about toilets in space? In this video Coleman demonstrates how a slight vacuum helps to steer poo into the toilet bag – using peanut M&Ms as props. I could watch this all day.

You can watch the video on ABC here. (Apologies for the ads you’ll have to endure on that site.)

Hey universe? I love you, too.
